Rose Meda Donkor Offei Asare
Rose is a versatile woman with over 22 years’ experience in the WASH sector. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the developmental objective of the organization. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Religion from the Catholic university and a degree in PGDIP, Monitoring& Evaluation from GIMPA. She is a member of the WELA cohort, CEIBS alumni and other professional & social associations. Her experience guides AAP to create a sustained and lasting impact. She worked as the program director for AAP from Jan 1998 until Jun 2021 where she became the President of the organization.
She oversees the day-to-day operations of AAP to meet set goals, targets and objectives in fulfilment of the organization’s mission as well as ensure a greater impact with donor funds. Her genuineness, integrity, and friendliness coupled with extensive travels around the world helps her build relationships and other social capitals to support implementation of AAP’s integrated strategies and plans. She is also passionate about the welfare of children, helping the poor & vulnerable and an advocate for water, sanitation and hygiene, thus her strong involvement and interest in any agenda that champions the cause of WASH, women and children.
